This weeks was just one of those weeks. The kind where you feel completely uninspired. The weather sucked which left me with severe cabin fever and my cabin fever only made me feel isolated and blah. Every time I’d received a text, I found myself wanting to pour out negativity and I hate being that girl. The truth is that sometimes military life has its perks. You get to travel to places you may not have otherwise and you meet some really awesome people along the way, but starting all over each time you move can really get the best of you if you let it. I seem to “let it” in phases. Lately, I find myself dwelling about having to put my business on hold for the next three years, not making the money I used to, and having to make new friends. Are there any wives out there who can relate!? Anyway, after my 72 hour Netflix binge I decided I needed to get it together. After all, San Diego (a.k.a. my favorite home ever) was hard the first year too. To get in tune with my inner go-getter I decided to revamp my workspace. Up until this point it’s been a table, my laptop, and a couple of Navy Lodge advertising pens. Here’s what it looks like after a little sprucing up.

8 Workspace Essentials:

1. Something quirky

2. Something organizational

3. Something cute to write with

4. Something to record your ideas, inspo, and goals

5. Something personal

6. Something DIY-ed

7. Something to keep you on track

8. Something living (or pretending to be)

The metallic “net” hanging on the wall is totally my favourite of them all! I use a cork board at the moment and I’m bored of it, you gave me a great idea xx
