As a child, our home was always spotless, super fancy, and very tailored with an un-expected spark. My mom had a love for gold accents, antique furniture, and quirky touches. As I got older, it was clear that I grew to be a lot more like my mother than I could have ever imagined, and I’m not talking about her lack of patience (although, I may have took on some of that too). I realized that I had even inherited my mom’s love for eclectic, regency inspired interiors, and anyone who follows my Pinterest feed has witnessed my obsession first hand. I’m a minimalist when it comes to physical clutter, but a maximalist when it comes to strong prints and rich color.
When I recently revamped our bedroom, I wanted it to reflect my style and match the vibe of the rest of our house. However, I wanted to do it in a way that was a bit more simplistic in an effort to create a space that was still relaxing. I wanted it to be “grown up”, but not so “grown up” that it wasn’t fun. I stuck with my high contrast black and white theme that is found all over my house (and in my wardrobe), and brought in some accessories and art to soften it up. Heres the reveal of my Regency Inspired Bedroom Revamp!
